July 28, 2011 witness the inauguration ceremony of Balai Adat Alur Dua Mas, South Aceh District by Tgk. Husen Yusuf, South Aceh Head district. In line with Inauguration of Balai Adat Ketambe in 20 July 2011, Balai Adat Alur Dua Mas also built through cooperation and collaboration between BPKEL, Global Heritage Fund, Aceh Foundation and SAFE foundation together with the community. Both of the Balai Adat is intended to encourage revival of unique Adat, both in South East Aceh district, and South Aceh district.

Forest conservation in Southern Aceh is closely tied with subtle combination of moderate islam, belief in mysticism and adat's practice. BPKEL, in accordance to its duties to manage, conserve, protect, restore and regulate sustainable utilization of Leuser Ecosystem understand the core power of its work lies on the people and communities living around the forest of Leuser ecosystem. Together with it also an understanding about the importance of reviving cultural heritage that's currently under threat of modernization.

The inauguration ceremony reflect the philosophy behind the development of Balai Adat, featuring the world-famous Saman Dance, as well as traditional entertainment event such as Ranup Lampuan, Rapa'i Geleng, and Rapa'i Debus. This building was completed few month prior to inauguration ceremony, and has been utilized for various occasions, including community meetings and cultural performance.
